LAYC Esperanza Foster Care
The Esperanza program provides wrap-around services to refugee children from ages 5-17. The wrap-around services include short-term housing in licensed foster homes, educational classes, vocational services, nutrition, recreation, physical education, leisure time, case management, reunification, counseling, screening for trafficking and prevention, medical and dental services, and legal referrals.

Foster Parent Services
Recruit, train, and retain community members to provide short term safe, loving homes to children.
Recreational Services
Facilitate exercises and excursions for physical education and leisure time.
Case Management Services
Provide family reunification services to connect children with sponsors.
Screening for Trafficking and Prevention Services
Conducting screenings and providing prevention services to protect youth from exploitation and trafficking.
Wrap-around Services
Offering comprehensive wrap-around services to address the diverse needs of youth and promote holistic well-being.
