DC Teen Center Programs
Food & Nutrition
Learn the basics of how to cook healthy food and make healthy choices.
Arts
Learn new drawing and painting skills or learn how to make your own clothes in our sewing class. We offer many different art classes!
Media
Produce your own beats in our Audio Production class or make your voice heard in Teen Center Radio.
Open Recreation
You can relax with your friends or play a game of foosball, Xbox, or ping pong in a safe and welcoming environment.
Leadership
Be a part of our Fall and Spring leadership cohorts. Learn leadership skills and help Teen Center Staff plan events.
Homework Help
Homework assistance and academic mentorship with interns from George Washington University.
Community Service Hours and Internships
Teens can get community service hours by signing up and participating in our classes. Classes are 4-6pm, once a week, for 10 weeks, culminating in an exhibit at our Kaplan Building.
We offer college internships on a case-by-case basis. Please reach out if you are interested in being an intern at the Teen Center.
