Rick England, long-time member of LAYC’s Board of Directors and current Board Treasurer, was chosen from among 500 nominees as Volunteer of the Year by the Invest in Others Charitable Foundation and InvestmentNews. The award honors financial advisers who have made outstanding charitable contributions. More than 450 executives from 50 financial organizations honored Rick and the other recipients at a Community Leadership Awards held at the Hilton Hotel in New York.

Since he began working with LAYC as a volunteer at the Transitional Living residential program, Rick has been a consistent champion of LAYC programs. We are so glad that his dedication and hard work have been broadly recognized. Rick is generously donating the cash award he received to LAYC.
