A Holiday Gift

Continuing the Latin American Youth Center’s tradition of providing its clients with a year-end celebration, more than 200 people graced the organization’s main building on Columbia Road to welcome the holiday season, celebrate their accomplishments and to simply have a good time with their peers.

There was something for everyone at the festivity. From beginning to end, the party goers’ joy shone through. Children and not so small children took pictures with Santa, teens busted the latest dance moves, and adults shared quality time. And like in every celebration, everyone enjoyed a traditional holiday feast.

The verdict according to the hundreds of smiles: a sensational party.

This celebration would have not been possible without Santa’s little helpers: LAYC’s staff, who donated gifts for the organization’s programs participants, and some partnering entities, who kindly donated funds to make the celebration a hit.
