The Youth L.E.A.D. program and the LAYC’s Prevention Team will be hosting the 1^st Annual “Make It Happen” Opportunities Fair on Saturday April 28^th from 12:00pm-4pm.  The event will take place at the LAYC and will provide people of all ages an opportunity to participate and collect information concerning health, jobs, and college.

Representatives will be present from local health organizations, colleges and universities, and job training/placement programs.  Not only will event participants discover more about the services in the surrounding community, but they will eat for free and qualify for several raffle prize giveaways.  Special guest speakers are also expected to contribute to the occasion.

“Make It Happen” is envisioned as an opportunity for people of all ages in the community to participate in a “one stop shop” where they can gather information from LAYC programs and local organizations pertaining to health, jobs, and college, and not to mention, have some fun!
