The Street Outreach Program (SOP) provides referrals to emergency housing and wrap-around services for youth who are homeless or unstably housed, they also manage the wait-lists for the Hope House and Extended Housing Program. In addition, the Street Outreach Program provides emergency food and access to a shower and laundry facilities. SOP also performs weekly outreach in various locations across the city to locate homeless youth, provide emergency services and information and to build relationships with other service providers. Bilingual services in English/Spanish offered. Referrals can be made by social service providers or youth themselves can call the Street Outreach Program at 202-319-2624.
