Community Wellness

Community Wellness supports the development of individual, organizational, and community capacity to promote health and wellness, build a culture of peace, and address issues of homelessness.

Community Wellness achieves its purpose by using a positive youth development framework that integrates these components in order to promote healthy behaviors in youth such as:

  • skill building
  • awareness raising
  • harm reduction
  • transforming relationships
  • community engagement
  • advocacy
  • opportunities for youth leadership

Community Wellness is led by Mark Robinson. Mr. Robinson brings over 25 years experience developing, implementing and managing private and public programs for diverse populations. He has extensive experience in non-profit management, youth program development, community health education, organ and tissue transplant education, substance abuse treatment and prevention programming, clinical management, community development and cultural diversity and violence prevention training programs. He previously served as the Executive Director for the Minority Organ and Tissue Transplant Education Program of Cleveland. He holds a Master of Arts in Guidance and Counseling, from Bowling Green State University.
