The Answer

To ensure that LAYC can continue to build a promising future for thousands of low-income youth, we launched the Future Fund. The fund provides us with flexible resources to pilot innovative programs, launch new initiatives and seize opportunities as they arise. The Future Fund will ensure that our critical programs and services will be here for years to come, while serving more young people in new ways.

Our goal is to raise fifteen million dollars. Why so much? Because when it comes to the youth of our region, we think big. A track record like ours attracts constant opportunities. The Future fund ensures that we have the cash on hand to take advantage of those opportunities.

The Challenge

To meet our goal, we need your help. Please support the long term future of the Latin American Youth Center by making a gift to the Future Fund.

Thanks to a generous contribution from an anonymous donor, the first $100,000 we raise for the Future Fund will be matched dollar for dollar. Every dollar you give to the Future Fund will generate two dollars.

For over thirty years, the Latin American Youth Center (the Maryland Multicultural Youth Centers in our Maryland locations) has been helping low-income youth create a better future for themselves.

Our Art + Media House has been recognized by the President's Committee on the Arts and Humanities as "one of the top arts and humanities-based programs in the country serving youth beyond school hours."
