LAYC served 3,884 individuals between October 1, 2014 and September 30, 2015.
In DC 417 students received an average of 52 hours of after-school homework assistance and enrichment activities. 42 youth in Maryland earned their GED.
145 participants became ready for employment and entered the job placement phase of the (DC?) program, 96 obtained employment, and 51 enrolled in college. 230 youth in Maryland gained work experience through internships with local employers.
117 youth were placed in safe, secure housing through one of LAYC’s housing programs.
Health and Wellness
584 youth received free STI/HIV and/or pregnancy tests.
